Online course on digital tolerance

I am convinced that this course is an important step in teaching a high culture of online etiquette for students and helping them to use the Internet comfortably and effectively.
We all know how important it is to be alert and keep up with our things. The same principles work online, but instead of personal things, we need to keep our personal information and access to our online accounts. Things that are valuable to our students (e.g., access to email accounts or social networks) may interest swindlers so we need to protect them with secure passwords, reliable sites and confidentiality of personal information. As we are looking for information on the Internet on different topics, in all cases, it's important to use critical thinking to choose information that is useful and reliable. Students always have to check the reliability of the site and not distribute their personal information.
While finding some information students should check the rightness of the site comparing it with three others sites. It is also important to create different phrasal passwords to make it safer.
As teachers, we should be aware of the importance to develop skills for safe Internet use. To do this, young people must be able to think critically, protect the privacy of their information and know the rules of safe online behavior.
